Overview

How I got started

I started trail riding at 8 years old.

2001; Rode all the DH trails at the original, "Mountain Creek", at 12, (on a Kona Roast hardtail).

2002; Started 20" BMX racing, and won 6 of my first 8 races.
2002, 2003, 2004, I raced 20" BMX, and 24" BMX cruiser classes. won several state qualifiers, a Redline cup qualifier, and several, "Race for Life", events.

2002; Raced first Mountain Bike event, "The Blue Mountain DH Snow Race",. I also ran this race in 2003 and 2004.

2004; My first Downhill race was, "The US Open of Mountain Biking". I qualified and finished exceptionaly well for my first race. After my great finish I decided to skip the beginner class and move directly to the sport class for the up coming season.

As the end of the 2004 season approaches I have decided that I will race the 2005 season as an Expert.

Bio

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am an active 18 year old, high school Sr. always on the go challenging myself and my abilities.  I work in My  bicycle shop, hunt with my dad, and outside of bike riding , enjoy off road Jeeping, and rock crawling. I have been off road driving since I was 10. I am also an avid snowboarder. I have been getting a reputation as a Pool Shark in the local pool halls and on the NORBA circuit, . Wiping out all comers at the Snowshoe NORBA Weekend.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I ride my Bikes alot. I have started some cross country training recently, for wind and endurance. I have started training pretty heavy this winter. I am definatly going to be a threat this year.. I spend most of my training time Honeing my technical abilities. I have not yet come across a section of trail that if it is rideable, I cant ride. I ride mostly with faster riders trying to keep up and learning from them.

How's Life Treating You?

My life is good. I am dioing well in school, and I love to ride. My  bike shop as well as n my dads support allow me to afford several different bikes for different ocaisions. I also have been meeting a lot of pro and fast expert riders, most I have become friends with. I just got my own Jeep all set up for off roading. I am on a great and active racing team. My family is healthy and supportive. What more could a 18 year old possibly want?
