Starting 3rd in the inversion the 377 car dashed to Crandons Turn 1 and was the second car to come through! Upon speeding through the first puddle on the track Heather’s mudeater system got jammed and she could not see. She managed to stay in 4th place through most of Lap 1 until the hairpin turn on the long end of the track. The buggy spun out allowing the rest of the Single Buggy class to get by. Very frustrated, Heather moved fast from 20th to 13th place before the end of the 8 lap race.

Determined to have a better finish Sunday, the 377 car was quick to the first turn. Quick enough to take the holeshot and run away with it! Making no mistakes, Heather lead the first 3 and a half laps of the 8 lap race. The fastest cars in the class made no ground on the leading 377 as the gap grew bigger between them. As the pressure got more intense, Heather got sideways in the same turn as the day before and many cars got by. Again she worked hard to get passed her competition as the race was already half over. The 377 buggy took a 10th place finish on Sunday.
