Bio

What inspires you to compete?
The competition, going fast, the rush of racing, the Huevos movies, Carp Diem movies, the sound of engines revving wide open, having kids look up to me, representing my area seeing how I’m the only racer in my community.Being the 1st Canadian paraplegic to race motocross and prooving to myself and others I can hang with other able bodied racers
Some Personal Information About Me:

I’m 22 years old and I am a T-5 paraplegic which was a result of a bad crash in august 2006. I love to ride, and race atvs that’s all I pretty much think about. I have Yamaha YFZ 450 that is fully adapted for me to ride. I ride between 2-3 or 3-5 times a week for about an hour and a half to 2 hours each time on my practice track mostly according to weather, school, and well day light hours. I also play wheelchair basketball and 3-4 times a week. I work out at the gym lifting weights 3-4 times a week. I also moderate a local motocross site. I am currently enrolled at the Truro Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College taking Therapeutic Recreation, so I can organize adapted recreation and sporting programs in my area. I I am very motivated and willing to put in the extra effort when I ride and race. I keep my quad very maintained and clean and have plenty of sponsor stickers on my quad and wheelchair.

Describe your style...

I am aggressive, not afraid to hit jumps, 95% of the time I’m on the pipe; I’m completely focused when I get on my quad. Once put on my gear start my quad up its go time. I focus on everything that’s on the track.

Music?

I find music is a way of life, expression, and fuel for the body. I listen to music so I can be pumped to ride and race. I listen to Metallica,Motley Crue, Motorhead Slayer, Pennywise,The Offspring, Spineshank, Country, AC/DC, The Main Event, Egypt Central, Disturbed, Ozzy Atreyu,Pantera, Megadeth pretty much anything that gets the fists pumping
