What has been your most embarrassing moment?
Going out for hot laps and forgetting to take off the ski boots. Ouch!!!
Some Personal Information About Me:
I started racing snowmobiles when I was 14 years old and now have been racing for 30 years. My father was the Best Enduro Driver there ever was. He was the first Enduro driver to ever be inducted into the Snowmobile Racing Hall of Fame. I won the MIRA National Championship in 2004 in the Pro 600 Mod Enduro class. I also was the 2005 Champion in the 600 Fan sprint class. I am married. I have two step-sons, Derek and Jake Gerow, who are now racing along with my brother-in-law, Mike Williams. I have a true family and team effort.
Describe your style...
I am a hard driver. The thought of only being 2nd best is not something I like to settle for. I will do whatever it takes to win (safely). Most of my competitors will tell you that they like racing against me because I do drive hard, but clean.
Why do you compete?
I have been around competitve sports all of my life. My grandfather, dad, and uncles all raced in some sort of competitive sport from the day I was born. The thrill of competition gives me an adrenaline rush that has been unmatched by anything else.
