Bio

What inspires you to compete?

The feeling achieved during a race. The motion of the car and the cars around me. And of course, the challenge...!

Describe your style...

As a driver, flat-out around the cushion. If there is a curb, I`ll run it. Running around the bottom is too boring and you don`t get the same rush as running the top of the track. As a man, I`m all about honesty, integrity, and respect. My competitors are some of my best friends, but when we`re on the track, there`s no horsin` around...we`re competitors!

Why do you compete?

Because I know I can be better, better every time I race. I push myself to the limit and 2nd won`t satisfy me. It`s also the friendships that keep me going. The guys I race with, their crews, their car owners, the WoO team...they`re great friends to be around!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Do I have to grow up?

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

We travel 9 months of the year, from coast-to-coast at least twice. 85 races in 29 states at 49 tracks...lots of travel. I enjoy seeing the country but get tired of `the road` if that makes sense. I like to travel for leisure, although it`s hard to fit it into the schedule. My favorite location is Jamaica, the Blue Lagoon. As for a road trip story, how much time do you have, cause I gotta bunch!

Competitive Highlights

I have been racing sprint cars since I could drive. I joined the World of Outlaws on tour in 1997-98. Had a bad crash in July 1998 and had to take several years off. After recovery, toured the SW with the limited sponsorships available. Crewed for Donny Schatz on the World of Outlaw circuite for the second half of the 2005 season. Member of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series MEAN 15 for the 2006 National Tour season.
