WORCS Racing
I dropped out of the Canadian Nationals as it headed back East for the the final 4 rounds. I decided to try my first WORCS race at the local round 7 in Olympia, Washington. It was quite an experience, and according to most racers the toughest race of the year. Heavy rain prior to the race and the first WORCS Cross course incorporated into the PRO 1 race, made it an eye opening introduction to this series. I got a terrible start, struggled with arm pump and dehydration, but finished a very repectable 14th ahead of some Factory guys. So now I'm hooked. I raced round 8 in Utah, but I DNF when my motor blew up after 1 lap. I raced round 9 at Milford, CA and finished 13th after 26th place first lap. WORCS is something I wish to continue to pursue. I will race the remaining rounds of the 2008 series and likely race the entire 2009 series.
