MX of Nations

This was probably the coolest race I have ever been to. I made friends with kids from England, Australia, Quebec and Costa Rica. I jumped in the pool at our hotel with Team Ireland after Sunday's race! Not to mention the great performance by Team USA and the crowd participation.

I also need to thank alot of people that helped me on Friday when the fuel line on my KX85 busted. I didn't get to practice, but so many people pitched in to make it possible for me to race the Supercross event. First, the Thor guys and Cycra guy in the vendor area tried to help my Mom find a new fuel line, then a Marine who was parking cars tried to tape the line together but it wouldn't hold. A family in camping gave us some lines to try and one fit, some guys who own Dirt Soldiers Track in PA put the new line on and a pro mechanic from Oregon cleaned the dirt out of the carb, jet and air box. Also, the racers from MA who gave us some carb. cleaner and I have to mention the 250 rider in camping that offered to take his fuel line off his bike for me to use and switch it back and forth so I could race, WOW! Just goes to show that Motocross is the best sport ever because the racers are fierce competitors but at the same time, generous and supportive of fellow racers.

Got something to say?
