Riley Metcalf is one of the most explosive and impressive amateur surfers on the planet today. He was mentioned in the top 100 Surfers list and ranked in as number 57. He's well on his way to becoming a power player in the world of surfing, he already won the USA surfing title two times and  made the national team three teams. He's a solid rider with a great future ahead of him.

How did you start in your sport? : Surfing looked really fun and I wanted to try it out.
What's the hardest part of your sport? : The hardest part of surfing is waking up early in the morning, becaue that is when the waves are the best,
Who is your biggest influence : Surfers that are better than me.
Any advice for new athletes ? : Keep trying and you will eventually get where you want to go.

Last time you traveled, where did you go? : I went to mainland Mexico a month ago with the Nike 6.0 team and it was a really great time. The waves were good and all of my friends were on the trip.

What's one weird thing about you? : I have a mohawk.
