What inspires you to compete?

Progression in the sport is definitely a big inspiration to me to compete. If I can learn something new, or do a new trick during a competition, I can use that to do better during the next competition. I'm also pretty competitive with my friends. I want to do good, but at the same time I try to have as much fun as possible.

Music?

My taste in music is pretty diverse. Usually when riding by myself I listen to mellow music like Bob Marley or Matisyahu. I also like some old school hip hop, like Tupac or Public Enemy. Rock, Reggae, foreign...it changes all the time.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

My most embarrasing moment was sliding out after a one footer on a box and not having the speed to hit the quarter pipe after it during a competition two years ago. So I just called it a run. As it turned out, if I would have just rode onto the quarter pipe, I would have gotten first place. But instead I got caught up in the moment and got second.

Why do you like this sport?

I like snowboarding because everybody is constantly progressing. I see new tricks being done all the time. It never gets old, It's always fun.

How's Life Treating You?

Life's treating me pretty good right now. I'm currently attending college in PA and I'm waiting for the season to finally start. I could use a job, but my parents have been hooking me up with gas money. So no complaints there.
