Overview

How I got started

I started out riding this old motorcycle around our pasture when I was 14, I was a late bloomer, and eventually started jumping and making laps. I soon got a real dirtbike and began racing in 2000, and have been addicted to it.

Goals for the Future

Goals for this year are realistic goals, such as,

- Race Pro-Am events to earn pro license
- I plan to qualify for Loretta Lynn's in OpenA class,
- Finish top 3 in the District-22 race series

I believe to reach all of these goals, a lot of things need to come together. I've been working hard practicing and training, while still working 50hrs a week. Its tough, but makes me stronger and more determined to succeed.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I Graduated from West Delaware High School in Manchester, Iowa. I work in Manchester and ride pretty much whenever I do not work. I believe to succeed in anything you must have a good attitude, and my parents keep me in check on that. Describe your style...

My style could be described as a smooth flowing make it look easy riding style, and when I throw the hammer down, I became more aggresive hang it out. Smoother style means less energy wasted, and that mean longer motos.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Beginning of this year I decided I'm going to comeback to the racing scene with a new attitude and deteremination. So for training I have been using the P90X program, which consists of 1hr a day of a little weight lifting, a bunch of cardio, and then I throw another 30min a day of carido (running, airdyne), 6 days a week, plus riding 40min motos twice a week. By doing this I have lost 20lbs, gained some lean muscle and have much more control of my bike and my endurance is threw the roof. Its a great feeling.
