How did you get started?
Unfortunately I got a late start in riding. I started riding pit bikes in 2002 while my boyfriend was out racing. After awhile of doing that, I got bored with cruising around camp and wanted to move up to a big bike. Once I bought my own bike and figured out how to ride the thing, the next step for me was to try racing. I raced my first race in 2006, and have been hooked on the sport ever since.
List your competitive highlights:
- 2006 D37 Desert Series 1st Novice Woman and 13th Overall
- Moved up to Amateur after one year of competing
What are you planning for next season?
I would really like to challenge myself this season and compete in at least 15 desert races and earn some more transfer rides. I would also like to finish in the top 10 for the 2008 D37 Desert Series.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment has always been finishing a race, if you race desert than you know exactly what I'm talking about. So far I'm pretty happy with earning my Amateur status.
