Waters Racing

Overview

How I got started

My first competive experience was with Quarter Midgets at age five. Then I moved through the ranks of MiniCups (half scale stock cars) and Bandolero cars. My first race on an ATV was at 12 years old at Lake Havasu City. That same fall, I also raced and finished the Best in the Desert KTM 150, with my dad as my teammate.

Goals for the Future

I will be attending all of the 2010 WORCS and Quadcross events. As the 2009 season is finishing up with me in the Top 10 in points, my goal for 2010 is a Pro Top 5 for the season.  I also hope to go to any other competitive and non-competitive events that I can attend to gain experience and give exposure to my supporters. As the WORCS and Quadcross series' have now gained even more and more coverage through, stills, audio and video of every round, you can guarantee my name and my sponsors will be put in front of the millions of viewers week after week!

Some Personal Information About Me:

ATV racing is my number one focus right now, and bike prep and physical training take up a lot of my time. When I`m not in the garage or at one of my part-time jobs, I am a student at the University of Nevada- Las Vegas gaining my bachelors degree in Business Marketing.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

In order to stay on track during the two hour long Pro finals , I have begun working myself harder than ever before. In a normal day at school, after I have finished with my classes I head straight to the gym to put in close to two hours on both cardio and strength training equipment. Because I have no class on Friday, from Friday to Sunday I spend almost the entire day somewhere putting in tons of seat time on my quad.

What do you want to be when you get older?

Although I would like to be a professional ATV racer full time, that is very hard to do.  As something to fall back on I am studying for a degree in Business Marketing. Not only will this give me another choice as a job, but the communications classes I am currently taking help me communicate with the press, spectators, and my sponsors in my racing career.
