Overview

HOW I GOT STARTED

I first started riding in the summer of 2001. On a 96 Honda 300EX. Back then all I did was trail ride with all my buddies and talked about racing. Well in the summer of 2003 I entered my first three races on that 300EX. Well those three races didn't go as planed and I thought was the being of my racing career was also the end of my racing career, so I thought. Well in the summer of 2004 when I got a Yamaha YFZ450. Well I decided to once again try the racing thing out. Well this time I went out and got 2nd in my first race and with in a few months I was being forced out of "C" class locally for beating everyone by so much, and since then motocross has been my life.

2009 RACE RECAP

Well the 2009 was a season of change for me. Switch bike brands so had to learn a new quad, new sponsors and new competition. Well of course switching brands brought some new bike problems, nothing major just a few minor things that cost me a few wins. Locally racing went better than I hoped. I only lost a couple of times, and that was mainly due to minor mechanical problems, and the when an AMA Pro ATVA rider showed up. But Riding with a Pro was a good thing because it gave me the chance to learn where I needed to improve on. Now nationally where the competition came along, went into the first round no where near ready and it showed. But by the end of the year I was about where I wanted to be speed wise at the being of the year.

GOAL FOR 2010

For 2010 I plan on being in better shape, faster, and just more mentally ready then last year. I hired a personal trainer which I’ve been training with for a few months now and can really tell a difference already. I also just got done building a practice track on our ground and plan on riding 3 times a week.  I'm also planning on running the entire ATVA Nationals in the Pro-Am class and hoping to finish in the top 5 in point so I can make the jump to AMA Pro class in 2011. I also plan on defending my local championships as well. As far as quads go, I’m planning on riding Suzuki again in 2010 and also planning on having a practice bike as well.
