How I got started

I was 15 when I first got into riding. I learned how to ride on a 1990 Honda XR 80, after that my mom and dad bought me a TTR 225, which I soon found out was too big for me, and I down graded to a TTR 125. I took that bike to a local track that had alot of sand. I soon found out that a TTR wasn`t going to work if I wanted to race. Then they bought me a 2004 yz 125, which I loved! The 2-stroke was great for a while but im not fast enought right now to be on the tank, so my mom and dad suprised me and bought me a 2007 yz250f which I am absolutly in love with! I feel so much faster on it, and my times and speed shows a big improvement.

Goals for the Future

Right now, my goal is to improve my speed on the track, and be able to finish top 5 every race where there is more then 2 girls in the class. By the end of summer I would like to be able to race at least one race in the 250 beg. class with the boys, and then hopefully turn intermediate by 2009.

What inspires you to compete?

What inspires me to compete is the adreninline rush im going to get from it. Also just being a girl riding in a guy`s sport inspires me, knowing that girls can ride just as good as guys makes me want to get out there and race.

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because its a family sport that anyone can do. It`s not like some other sports where you have to be doing it all your life for you to sucessed. Even thought that helps.Also everyone is so nice in this sport, and everyone is willing to help you.

Some Personal Information About Me:

Im 16 years old. Im 5`8`` with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. I have a boxer named Ernie, and I am looking to get another boxer soon. I have one brother and two loving parents who support what me and my brother want to do.Bert`s my dad, Karen`s my mom, and Bryan is my brother. My dad, my brother and I all ride. My dad has a 03 Honda CR 125, and my brother has a 03 Honda CR 85

Schools Attended

For kindergarden through 2nd grade I attended Nevada City Elementry. For 3rd trough 5th grade I went to Deer Creek. 6th through 8th grade I went to Seven Hill Middle School. For high school i`m currently attending Nevada Union High School.
