What inspires me to compete?
My dad and Ricky Carmichael inspire me to compete. My dad inspires me by taking me to races, being supportive, and fixing my bike when something goes wrong. Ricky Carmichael inspires me because he works the hardest, and he earns every win.
Some Personal Information About Me:
I love to ride but I really love to race because it’s so fun. I absolutely hate loosing because I am very competitive, but I know that every race is just practice for the next race for as long as I race, so I never ride over my head. I watch and ride with faster people to learn the faster lines. I want to be the best at what I do, it doesn’t matter what sport it is. I ride on my friend’s track all winter every winter. I want to race motocross and supercross when get older. I like to hang out with my friends, and family. I work hard in school and I have a 3.0 grade average this semester. I have a good attitude on and off the track, and I like making new friends. My dad is a really good mechanic, and can fix anything. He has been a mechanic for 24 years. He started when he was 13 years old. He has showed me a lot about being a mechanic, so I’m a pretty good mechanic as well.
My Trainning Program:
I have been riding every day I can. I race almost every weekend, and finish on top. If there is not a race I am riding. I’ve been going to the gym with my dad every day I can, and using the exercise bike. I go to 30 or 40 minutes depending on what all workouts we are going to do after I am done on the bike. This year I will train hard, and not get tired during a race. If I get tired during a race I will go an extra 10 minutes on the exercise bike. Everyone from Medford Power Sports has been helping, and pushing me to get faster. They all have been real helpful this season and they make me faster every time I ride with them.
Why I compete?
I compete because its fun and I just like to race, and I want to be a pro. Every time I race I fell like I’ve accomplished something. It doesn’t matter if I get first or last, I always have that feeling. I get that feeling because I learn something every time I race. I compete to have fun and get better, and be the best. Another reason I compete is because one race at the Southern Oregon Pro-Am on 3/24/07 I was leaning on my bike talking to a guy and a couple kids came over and got my autograph. It was the coolest feeling ever and that’s a big reason why I like to compete.
Do I like to travel? What's my best (clean) road trip story?
I love to travel and do big races. Last year I went to Washougal and raced 125 C. We went to the river every day after the races. Then every night we watched people jump their bicycles and wreck almost every time. Washougal was the funniest trip I’ve took in a long time. The Best trip I took this year was up to Albany on 4/22/2007. I went up there to practice on Saturday and race Sunday. Practice was canceled because of the rain. Sunday was a mud fest but I love racing in the mud. I raced 125 junior, 250 junior, and 4 stroke and I won them all. On the start in the 125 junior first moto I stalled the bike going in to the corner and was in last place out of 9. I got my bike started and charged the hole race got behind the guy in first and fell over. I got back up and almost had him again but I finished second. The next moto I won by almost half a track.
