Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

This year in January 2009 I went out and purchased a yz450f and set it all up for dirt track to start the long journey in fulfilling my dreams of becoming the next greatest GNC rider and follow in my brothers foot steps after his 10th anniversary of his passing in 99.

List your competitive highlights:

I have won the high points at Lodi Cycle Bowl in 2009 for both the Open C and Open Am and placed 4th at the first Stockton Mile in 31 years while running against some of the fastest A riders in the nation.

What are you planning for next season?

Next year I plan to become a pro A rider and get all my district points up. Just win, win, win is on my mind

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

So far my greatest accomplishment has been the Stockton Mile as well as my high points at Lodi

What inspires you to compete?

My brother Toby Jorgensen was the greatest racer that I have ever seen and when he passed away I always told my self that I would one day finish what he started

Why do you like this sport?

I have been around dirt track my whole life and there is no other sport that I can compare the competition or adrenaline rush that you get from it.

Why do you compete?

I would rather do nothing else in the world and just be on a track racing. When I go on the track everything that bothers me goes away and I feel at home. I want to be the best and I won't stop until I reach my goal and that is why I compete
