Well i was jobless at the time belive it or not and my best friend talked me into riding his wolverine. When i rode it like i stole it i was hooked on the so called high performance 4x4 atv's. A few weeks went by and he had the bright idea to want to start racing, so of course i was in it like bennet. We went to our local kawasaki dealership and was going to pick up two Mojave's. I backed out of buying the one i was supposed to get and he bought his. I ended up buying a 1992 TRX250X that wouldnt run, i put a new cdi box on there and thought i was going to be a champion. Then one day not long after we got our quads we headed out to our first race (at this time we was open for different styles of racing)  it was a dirt drag. We didnt do to hot i blew my engine up and he just didnt win. While my honda was not running we went to go do a cross country event that was sanctioned by a small club. I didnt have a thing to race except his Wolverine. We got there and i signed up for utility and he signed up for c class. After the first mile was in i was leading the utility class and moved my way into c class. I ended up passing my buddy before the first lap and never looked back until the checkered flag. We got together after the race and looked at the overall positions, I was 14th out of 45 riders and he was 27th out of 45 riders. From that point on i was hooked on Cross Country racing.

As far as motocross goes i will only practice on getting rid of arm pump on an outdoor MX track. I do race a few arenacrosses in the winter to keep in shape. The only draw back is that around here there isnt many races in the winter unless i drive a long distance(200+ miles). So in the winter i usually ride my Rincon and hunt.
