Overview

How I got started

When I was 3 years old and my dad got me a little PW 50. I started riding it before I could ride a bicycle. I rode it for about a year. My mom missed my first race because my little brother had breathing problems, but he`s okay now. Anyways, after the PW 50, my dad bought a LEM 50. A faster bike with a little more power. On that bike, I won an Oklahoma State Championship Series and got a headline in the news paper. From there I won a OSCS on my KX 65. Now I`m on an `03 KX 85, and I`ve kind of been racing the Oklahoma Cross-Country Racing Association, better known as OCCRA. I started OCCRA last year because you know, it`s a change, and i thought it would be something fun. So I took 3rd overall, and this year I am in first in the point standings, and 2nd in the Tucker Rocky standings, behind my little brother. (He has an easier class). But winning is winning, and I hold strongly to that statement.

Goals for the Future

I am really going for it next season. I want to win as many races as I can. Whether it be OCCRA, OMA, OSCS, or just any local or national races I can get to. I want to be able to get to race the BIG races that I haven`t before and at least podium.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because it is a challenge and ive been doing it ever since I was 3. It is just a thrill watching myself compete with others to gain a reputation and getting faster. I also like it because it is a individual person sport. Unlike baseball and all those other team sports, you only have to rely on one person, you.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Yes I train. alot more now than I used to actually. I ride for about 6 hours after school at one of my dad's friends' track. He has a supercross and  an outdoor track. I spend most of my time on the outdoor but I like the supercross one too because it help me with my corners. Getting through them as fast as possible makes a fast straight to a jump or any obsticle.

Why do you compete?

I compete because I think I can do good and win. I am able to make it to most races I compete for. Although, a lot of people know me because of my dad. He is my mechanic and support team, along with my mom, my little brother, George, Janette, Jordan and Jarrett Nassaney over at Altus Motorsports. I have a passion for this sport and I will compete until the end.

How's Life Treating You?

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

Yeah I LOVE TO TRAVEL! I love being on the road headed to a race with my family and I dont know, I just like the feeling. It makes me excited. Well i dont remember a good story because we, well right now, are doing the OCCRA races and they arent that far. only a couple hours..but im going to try and make it to loretta`s and I`ll tell you guys about my trip then.

Competitive Highlights

Well, I pretty much covered that in how I got started. -laugh out loud-. But when I went to the World Mini Grand Prix, both times I was doing pretty good, one time I think I took like 18th place out of about 40, and the second time I went there, I got run over and my bike broke down so I didnt get to finish. I also raced at Lake Whitney Qualifier for Loretta`s and was in 8th place until about half-way through, a kid knocked into me and I crashed, causing a pile-up, and I was at the bottom of it all. I also went to Branson, Missouri and took 9th of 27 riders. That`s pretty much it.
