How I got started
I started racing when I was 13 years old. My first ride was a 1995 Honda Cr80R. I got started racing because I went to a local motocross race at Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tenn. I thought it was an exciting sport so I told my father that I would like to try it. My very first race I entered was at Muddy Creek. I entered the race with major butterflies. I finished the race but didnt place well at all. Every year following my first race, I have stepped up the speed more and more. In 1999 I had to move up from the 80 because of my size. I started out in the 125 C class and finished pretty good. In the following years I went to the 250 C class where I won a championship I am now in the 250 B division. In 2002 i raced in the United States Mega Series in 4stroke division where i finished 3rd and in Unlimited Am where in finished 3rd also. In the following years to come I picked up more and more speed and became a better rider. in 2008 I started racing the 25 + class, and 125 B aboard my Suzuki RMZ 250. In 2009 I continued racing in the 25+ class and select few 250 B races.
My goals for 20010 are to become a better rider, train harder, stay healthy and win a championship. I would like to win a national title as an amateur at the Loretta Lynn`s Amateur Nationals.
In 2011 I would like to turn pro and race some pro am events and see where that will take me.
