 How I got started

I started racing when I was 13 years old. My first ride was a 1995 Honda Cr80R. I got started racing because I went to a local motocross race at Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tenn. I thought it was an exciting sport so I told my father that I would like to try it. My very first race I entered was at Muddy Creek. I entered the race with major butterflies. I finished the race but didnt place well at all. Every year following my first race, I have stepped up the speed more and more. In 1999 I had to move up from the 80 because of my size. I started out in the 125 C class and finished pretty good. In the following years I went to the 250 C class where I won a championship I am now in the 250 B division. In 2002 i raced in the United States Mega Series in 4stroke division where i finished 3rd and in Unlimited Am where in finished 3rd also. In the following years to come I picked up more and more speed and became a better rider.  in 2008 I started racing the 25 + class, and 125 B aboard my Suzuki RMZ 250.  In 2009 I continued racing in the 25+ class and select few 250 B races.

My goals for 20010 are to become a better rider, train harder, stay healthy and win a championship. I would like to win a national title as an amateur at the Loretta Lynn`s Amateur Nationals.

In 2011 I would like to turn pro and race some pro am events and see where that will take me.

Why do you like this sport?

I like the sport of Motocross because, it is fun and challenging. Also you get to meet alot of great people from around the country and world.  It is a very family orriented sport, where friends from all over the nation and world can come together and ride and have fun.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Outside of the racing enviroment, I currently work for myself designs signs, custom decals, and painting helmets. I graduated from ETSU with a BS in Ditial Media (Graphics Design).   I would like to take the skills that I have learned and work for a company in the motocross/supercross industry, creating some of todays most creative cutting edge designs.  I want to stay within the sport in any way possible and watch and help it grow bigger and better than what it is today.
