WMI celebrated it’s first year under it’s new name at the 2006 Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship with two moto wins and four top ten overall finishes. WMI team rider Kyle Keylon won moto’s one and two in the highly competitive 250B stock class. Kyle took a couple falls in moto number one and suffered a 17th place finish, however his second and third moto wins proved his suspension was more than race ready. The Keylon’s are no strangers when it comes to top-notch equipment and that includes suspension that is capable of winning National races. Kyle expects nothing but the best and WMI gave him just that. Kyle also pushed out a hard fought ????? overall in the 125B mod class as well.

Dean Dyess also had a few problems with hitting the dirt in moto number one of the 250B stock class. However a few podium spots later had Dyess pulling off a final podium spot with 3rd overall for the week. With both Keylon and Dyess finishing in the top three, it is safe to say that WMI owned the 250B stock class at Loretta’s.

WMI mini bike sensation Lucas Crespi ended up with some impressive moto finishes in the Supermini class and 85 14-15 year old class. The rider from Melbourne Beach, FL had a number of top ten moto finishes and a top ten overall to finish out the week. Lucas will now step up to the big bikes and take his place in the B class for the WMI team as Keylon and Dyess will be moving up to the A classes now.

Willie Manning of WMI has turned over many championship-winning bikes at the prestigious Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National over the years. He knows what it takes to win championships, but also knows what it takes to build quality equipment. “Though we didn’t win any titles this year, we showed everyone that we are up and running with the new company and that we are in this for the long haul. It has a been a tough year building the new company and I would just like to personally thank each and every rider, customer and team member for sticking behind WMI”, says Manning. Manning also went on to say that they are all ready wide open on getting bikes ready for the 2006 Winter Olympics that will hail in Gainesville, FL over Thanksgiving week. So if you want a holeshot machine for the nations next Amateur National, get on the phone and call WMI.

Let’s go racing!
