I know it has been a while since I have been on. I now have a new job that I love very much working as a diesel and trailer mechanic. The switch in jobs has left me short in the financial dept. and I have been playing catch up for awhile now.
Hopefully here soon I catch back up and get back to racing before the season is over. If you are traveling through Illinois/ St. Louis Missouri border and are in the need of repairs stop by Metro Truck and Trailer Repair in Pontoon Beach, IL off of I-270.

This past weekend I raced my first 250B race at Cross Roads MX in Mason,IL. Let me start by saying how scared I was about it. I was really nervous because I would be out on the track with the crazy fast A riders. Practice went good except for the arm pump, which was really bad because I havent been riding or exercising much.
To the racing, the first moto did not go too good. It was all good until I killed the enginge in the corner(thank God I dont race a 4-stroke) but the pack was gone. I tried to gain some ground but was not able to. By the end of the moto I had been lapped by several people.
The 2nd moto went alot better for me though. First off I had a pretty good start, but once again the pack left me eating dust. I did however pass one person who had killed his bike and couldnt get it started, so that bumped me up a spot. I only got lapped by two A riders this time.
For being the only 2-stroke in the 250 A&B moto and being out of shape as well as my second race of the season I feel that I did OK for my first 250B race. Thanks to all of my sponsors: Fat Max Racing, Steel MX Optics, EVS Protection, CBMX Racing, Patton's Performance Products, Ready Racing, M2R, and the one who watchs over me and keeps me safe on the track, thank you Lord Jesus Christ.

I have just now got an internet connection at my new house. I am sorry to anyone this has affected.
I have raced once this year at South Fork Dirt Riders on March 25th. When I signed up to race I asked if I could race 250C just for that race and they said that was OK, so I did. It had been November the last time I was on the bike and I didnt want to be in the way of the other 250 A and B racers. Any way someone protested me and I ended up with a DNF. That is perfectly fine with me, I only wanted the track time.
Since then money has been extremely tight and I havent had the chance to race. I am hoping to race once or twice this month.

For the 2006 Motocross season I did not fully meet my goals. I wanted to place in the top 5 positions in the AMA District 17 points. My season ended with me placing 7th in points. I did however place 5th in track points at South Fork Dirt Riders in Taylorville, IL.
I'd like to thank my sponsors that have helped me out this season.

Earlier this week my 2005 KTM 450SX finally arrived. I was only able to ride it once during the week. Today I raced it at South Fork Dirt Riders and got 2nd in the first moto, in the second moto I grabbed the holeshot and ended up 3rd. Overall I got 2nd place out of 9. It was a good experience for my first time on the bike.
On Friday I sent my suspension to Fat Max Racing (who is one of my rider support sponsors) to have them set up for me.
Due to not being able to adapt to rhe 450 I have sold it and continue to race my 250 2-stroke.

I attempted to race in the are qaulifer. I was not feeling it today and could not concentrate. I raced the first moto and got 11th out of 15. I couldn`t get comfortable on the bike either, maybe just nerves so decided rather than risking getting hurt I would pull out of the race.

On February 12th of 2006, I got my first ever win at Casey,IL. What a feeling it is to win.
March 26th I raced at Taylorville,IL. In the first moto I got a good start with a 3rd place before my front end went into a rut and caused me to fall over. After everyone went by I got up and charged back to finish 10th of 18. Second moto, I got decent start but went into a corner trying to pass a guy that killed it right in front of me. I ended up falling over again, and got going to finish 8th. Overall I got 7th of 16, not too bad for falling in each moto. With each race I learn more and more that will help me have better results in the races to come.

After racing at South Fork Dirt Riders on Saturday, Sunday I headed over to the new Cross Roads Motocross outside of Mason, IL. (formally known as Planet-X-Treme) This was my first time on the new layout of the track, as well as my second race on my 450. I took it easy in practice and both motos. I plan to do alot better next time I race there. I also had a mechanical failure with my hydraulic clutch, and killed the engine several times.

The first thing I`d like to say how helpful the guys at Fat Max Racing has been to me. Sunday was the first time I was able to try out the new suspension. If anyone has raced a KTM before then they know how bad the suspension is when its not even close to being set up for you. Fat Max did an awesome job and I feel alot more confient about rough tracks. For Sundays racing was not good as I would have liked at all. Once again I had trouble with the hydraulic clutch. Last week I bought a new whole new hydraulic systyem and thought it took care of the problems, but it didnt. Between motos I made an attempt to re-bleed the system and thought it was ok. In the 2nd moto off the start I lost all use of the clutch. I ended the day with a DNF.
