How I got started

I started racing a KX 60 at age 7,and advanced to A Class my first year.The following year 2000 I qualified for Loretta Lynn`s and finished 19th in the 7-9 Class.I have gone to Loretta Lynn`s every year since then finishing 6th 10-11 65cc Class,20th 7-11 85cc Class in 2001,20th 12-13 Mod Class in 2002,10th in 12-13 Stock Class 13th 12-13 Mod Class in 2003.Since I finished top 10 in 12-13 85 Stock,I was invited to the US OPEN in Las Vegas where I finished 10th.I also participated in the Arena Cross World Finals that weeknd held in conjunction with the US OPEN where I won 2 World Championships in 85cc 12-15 and 105 Supermini 12-15. In 2004 I reached some of the goals I set in 2003,I finished 5th in 85cc 14-15 and 7th in Supermini at Loretta Lynn`s.I finished 1st in 85cc 14-15,4th in Supermini and 7th in 125B at the RM cup.4th place at World Minis in 85 mod & 9th in stock.In 2005 I finished 6th at Lake Witney Texas in the stock 125 schoolboy class, I qualified for Lorrettas in schoolboy stock & mod and 125B stock & mod, I decided to run the B classes and finished 2nd overall in the stock class and 8th overall in the mod class with a 19-5-6 (8th overall).

Goals for the Future

To participate in as many national events as possible and finish top 5
Get top 5 at Loretta Lynn`s in the 125/250 A class
Win as many State Championships as possible
Win all contingency races and local races

What inspires you to compete?

My dad used to race 4 wheelers and i would come with him to spectate and i would always tell him how much I wanted to race. So he finally gave in and baught me a bike (1974 mr 50-old school SICK!) and I`ve just been riding and improving ever since.

My name is William Gregg Duffy Jr. and I am 17 years old. I love to race moto-x , I like to work on pitbikes, ride, and build tracks for pitbikes. I also like hanging out with my friends and practicing on my race bikes.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up i want to be a professional racer, a professional racer`s mechanic, or a representative for the industry. Motocross is the best sport in the world and I don`t think I`d be happy doing anything else.
