California today. Heading to Texas State Championship at Freestone this weekend. See you at the track!

month and getting ready for Mini O's next month.

Thanks to all my Sponsors & family. Good luck to all my friends, see you in TN!

I just came off of a broken Tib & Fib right after Loretta's.  I had to take 3 months off but have just been cleared by the doctor so I am back in training!  I'm looking forward to moving up to 125 & 250F classes for the 2009 season.  Its time to double up and hit it hard to make up for down time and I'm excited to be back.

Thanks to all my Sponsors, family & friends  who made 2008 such a great year!

This weekend I raced the Loretta Lynn Youth Regionals at Freestone County Raceway in Wortham, Texas.  I qualified in the Supermini class and will be going to Loretta's again this year.  Texas had some stiff competition.  This was definitely the best of the best.  The facilities were great, track was awesome and the racing was incredible!  I am so excited and proud to be going back to Loretta's once again.  I have to give props to all the competitors; everyone did a great job out there this weekend.  I plan on doing some major training over the next few weeks and look forward to some great racing in Tennessee!

I want to send a big shout out to all my sponsors for hooking me up with some sweet deals to help make this trip the best it could be!  The team at PRO WORKS RACING were onsite doing an outstanding job at keeping my bikes race ready and allowing me to get great starts and finish in a qualifying position.  I appreciate all the hard work & support from Randall Harris & Kevin Gravett at PWR!!  These guys are awesome and I am proud to be part of the PRO WORKS RACING TEAM!!

Thanks again to all my Sponsors!  PRO WORKS RACING, MONSTER ENERGY, DUNLOP, VORTEX, EXCEL RIMS, SIXSIXONE, ASV, TWIN AIR, & MOTOGRAPHX.

Made the move to Honda...

I recently decided to make the move over to Honda.  Since it's the year end and time to get new bikes for the new race season, I decided to explore all my options.  I love the new Honda four-stroke mini.  It has unbelievable power!  We are still waiting for the official rules to be announced on classes the four-stoke will be allowed in but I am sure that is way everyone will be going in the future.  So with that being the case I thought Honda would be the way to go.

Thanks to Honda of Houston for helping me out on the new bikes... that place is awesome!  We picked up my new bikes on Nov. 1st and couldn't be happier.  Although I loved my Suzuki's, this is a very exciting move for me and fresh start for the new race season.  I love how my new Honda 85's handle and can't wait to compete!

Thanks to my parents for making this happen and also to Honda of Houston - the #1 no hassle place to purchase Honda's and Big Thanks to Pro Works Racing for getting my new bikes race ready and helping me to stay out front!!

Broken Wrist 8/22/06

Unfortunately I sustained a broken wrist late August.  My left side this time... I actually compressed the bone and had to be in a long arm cast for 6 weeks.  My doc had to reset it 3 times so I got 4 different cast with this one injury... what a pain!

That really messed up my plans for Branson this year.  I would just be getting my cast off right before the trip so I had to cancel.  I hated to miss that one, I heard it was a great race and lots of fun.  I have some local friends who went and did pretty well.  Way to represent guys!   Hopefully I will make that one next year.  Right now, I am concentrating on building up my left arm since it had be bent in that long arm cast for 6 weeks.   Comes with the territory I guess.  I am back on my way so see you on track everyone!

Ponca City Grand National Championships

This year I had another great experience at Ponca and met some really cool friends.  This was the 3rd year I competed at Ponca and I was hoping for better results but wasn't so lucky.  I placed 7th in the Mod class and 10th in the Open going into the main but during the last race I went down and ended up in 24th.  I ended up with a 23rd overall in the Mod.

I wasn't real happy with my results but I am going to work harder and give it all I got to come back next time.  I actually wrecked in the Stock class and pulled my grip completely off so I was done after that and didn't even finish the race.  Talk about bad luck!   The experience overall was really good but I am ready to put that one behind me and look forward to bouncing back for the next race.  Thanks to Randall & Kevin at Pro Works Racing and all my sponsors for helping us out once again.  I'm looking forward to the new year and lots of racing!

I raced over the Thanksgiving Holidays at the USA Team/lndividual Motocross Championships and had a wonderful time. I placed 8th in my age group but got the holeshot on the finals and ended up 3rd place. It was the 1st time we attended this event and we really enjoyed it. It was pretty cool spending Thanksgiving with our extended MX family.

The Weldon family would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and safe and Happy New Year. I am looking forward to the 2006 race season and hope to see you all soon!
