Overview

How I got started

I am a 16 year old 11th grader and have been racing and competing in Motocross for 10 years.   My 1st bike was a PW-50 at age five and my 1st race was at age six which was the South Texas Championship Series placing 4th overall.  I have continued to progress & have been racing non-stop.  I practice & train every day and compete regularly in order to stay competitive and condition for National events.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am currently home schooled which allows me to train every day and travel to as many races possible.  I devote most of my time to motocross; however, I take education seriously and it always comes first.  I also enjoy BMX, running and swimming.

I am looking forward to next year racing 250-B Intermediate Stk/Mod Classes.  As 2009 comes to a close, I would like to thank all my sponsors, family & friends for a wonderful year in motocross!

What inspires you to compete?

I'm inspired to race because of the self gratification I get every time I accomplish something new.  That feeling is so incredible.  I strive to be the best I can be and when practice pays off, it's all worth it.  That`s really what keeps me going.  To see all the talent around me in our MX community inspires me to stay in the game and make my dreams come true.

What has been your most embarrassing moment?

I raced in the Houston Astrodome at the Monster Truck Jam on my 50cc Cobra and after the 1st lap, my seat came off.  I finished the race in 4th place... standing the whole time. The crowd was great & I had a blast but it was embarrassing for a little guy like me at the time.

Why do you like this sport?

I like Motocross so much because of the satisfaction you get from winning and lessons learned when you don’t. This is an individual sport based on how you perform and keeps me striving for more. The butterflies on the start gate, adrenaline rush when you make a great move and the awesome feeling you get when you win! There’s nothing like it.
