I have looked into what it takes in order to be a qualifying applicant for sponsorship. I believe I am qualified in the areas of advertisments and promotion due to the fact that I work at a Motocross Service Shop and always reccomending customers to use/buy different products for different companies.

My name is Mike Waugh and I have been racing motocross for 2 year now and have been riding dirtbikes for 3. I love the sport and it never grows old. I race to win and never give up. I am one person that dosen't believe in quitting.

Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

The summer of 2005, my mom came to pick me up from one of the camps I was at. When we got home, there was a TTR-125 in the middle of our garage! I was so happy, I dont think you will ever see a smile that big on my face again. But since then, I havn't stopped !

List your competitive highlights

My first race. It was at Freestone and I was supposed to race to beginner class, well, they wouldn't let me race the beginner class on my big wheel 85cc...so they moved me up to supermini. I've only been RIDING for about 6 months now and I have to race against these guys?! Well needless to say, I still did it and I was happy with myself for pushing myself.

What are you planning for next season?

Selling my 85 and letting my mom have my 125 cause im movin up to the big 250f!

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

The whole race scene...I never thought I would have the "balls" to race against 20 other young men like me, and place in the top 3.
