Vetta, the company that makes the best cycling computers in the world has signed on to sponsor me for the 2008 / 2009 racing season. After 7 weeks, 3 days and 5 hours, my dinosaur covered fiberglass and plaster friend is in the trash. The x-rays showed that the bones have healed and now only time and rehab will tell if the rest of the wrist is going to work again. Next time, when the doc asks if I want some pain meds before they pull the pins out, I think I will take him up on the offer. Can you say ouch, oh well now I have two, six inch long pins that came out of my arm, I think I will hang a picture or fix my fence with them. Time to get busy and get back to riding. I have stepped it up this season and have joined the Dragon Fly Racing Team. A national level team that supports the Factory Fly Racing Team as a training and developement asset for up and coming Bmx racers. I would like to thank team manager Tom Erickson for my shot at racing at the national level. I am looking forward to this new challenge and plan on tearing it up at a track near you.
