Q&A - Personal
What inspires you to compete?
The main reason that I compete is that all of your friends from different places up and down the coast do these contests and it gives you a chance to catch up with them. Also, I really enjoy being on the poduim in front of all of the people of the contes getting a sweet trophy.
Why do you like this sport?
I like this sport because it can be fast pacing at one moment and then slow at the next. It gives me a chance to get back to my senses and calm down if I am angry or upset about something.
Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?
Yes, I like to travel all of the time. Since the breaks on the island where I live are not good I have to travel. My Dad is in the military so I get to stay at DMJ's to surf and I go up to Lower Trestles. Beside from that I gp to Imperial beach alot!, Sunset Cliffs, La Jolla. Eventually, I head up the coast some more to get some differnce in the breaks like San Clemente, Oceanside, D-steet/moonlight beach, Carlsbad and a bunch of other places.
Music?
I listen to a variety of types of music. The artists would go from Alkaline trio to 50 cent. I like to listen to music that will put me in a good mood and not drag me down to not feeling good like metal and head banging music. That stuff is not for me.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
Yes. I train alot. I play lacrosse atleast twice a week. That puts me in good physical condition and it really helps. Also, I go to the gym as much as I can.I get out and run for a mile or so just to stay in shape.

hope all is well in SD. Looks like you are a ripper. You need on of our TRUNQ Surf Utility Boxes to keep all your gear in. Hit up some stores near you and tell them to start carrying TRUNQ. Hopefully we can get one over to you soon.
