What inspires you to compete?
It's the rush and the drive I have to be the best I can be at everything I do.
What has been your most embarrassing moment?
Stalling and getting stuck in the gate.
Why do you like this sport?
I love the sport because its not easy. There will always be room to improve and this gives reason to just keep pushing it. I also love the community; it's so small that I know people across the country. I'm among friends at every race I go to and they have the same desire for the sport as I do. It's just fun to hang out between motos and race against friends.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
Every weekday I lift weights and run every Friday. On Wednesdays I bring my bike to school in the back of my truck and head straight to the local track when I get out. Every weekend I race and practice.
How's Life Treating You?
Life's great. I'm doing pretty good in school. I'm taking honors classes like Physics and English. I'm also in Air Force JROTC, and take Architectural Drafting at Westside Tech.
I recently quit my job so that I could train more and saved up so that I could help my dad with the cost of racing. This year I've improved greatly on my riding and racing and hope to continue my growth.
