!Never Give Up!
What inspires you to compete?
The reason I compete would have to be because just riding isn't satisfying enough. When I cross that finishline I feel I have acomplished a somthing and then you add in a good result and all the hard work I put in to achieve. It's just a satisfying feeling.
Why do you like this sport?
The people involved in atv racing are just all good people. I like the vibe of being at the track, the people im surrounded by in the sport, the road trips and most of all the competition.
Do you train? What does your schedule look like?
I train about 10 months out of the year. I take about 2 months off after the season ends for deer season.
On the week days, I wake up in the morning at about 9:30 and eat breakfast. I go to class at 10:30. After class I come home and either do strenth training or cardio depending on wich day it is(rotating every other day) or riding when there isnt snow. After that I do any homework I have and work on the quad for a little while. At 2:00 I leave for work. (working 3pm to 11pm.) I get home from work at about midnight and relax for about an hour and eat. I go to bed about 1:00 or 1:30 then get up and do it all over again. On the weekends I ride, work out and wrench on the quad.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
When I grow up just as any other young racer I want to go pro but if that backfires then I want to be a proccess technition at a machine shop wich is what I am going to collage for right now.
How's Life Treating You?
Life is great. Im doing what I want to do right now. I like my job and race season starts really soon. Ive stepped up my training program huge from last year so I feel like I am in better physical condition than I ever have been and Ive been working on the mental aspect as well so I am deffinatly more focused and determined than years past as well.
