Overview

How I got started

In 2001, my family moved to Colorado.  Down the street there were some kids who rode dirt bikes.  I convinced my dad to let me give it a shot.  By the end of the day, I was riding the track, jumping and going great!  That was it!  Both of us were HOOKED!

Goals for the Future

I want motocross to be a part of my life forever!  Hopefully, that means being a pro just like Ricky, but I know that's going to be a LOT of work.  I just want to stay with it, work hard and attend several nationals every year.  This is the great sport in the world and I want to be the best I can be at it.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because it`s fun! I have a great time with my friends at the track and I love to ride my dirtbike. There`s nothing else like it in the world!

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am 11 years old and I love motocross. But I also totally love playing with my friends both at the track and at home. I never go anywhere without making a ton of new friends.  Everytime we go to a new track or a national, I make tons of friends.  I work hard at the track, but I like to play hard after riding too.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Recently, I moved from Colorado to Tennessee which threw off my training schedule a bit.  Then, after arriving here, I broke my collar bone, not once, but twice!  So, this has been a tough year.  I am back on the bike now, and training hard once again.  My dad and I just developed a new training regimen.  I ride at least 3 days a week and we practice each skill each time.  My goal is to do each thing right 10 times in a row and then move on to the next thing.  I'm excited, this is going to make me a lot better!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a dirt biker when I grow up. I know it`s going to be hard work, but I would love do what guys like Ricky and Bubba do for a job! It would be so cool to spend my whole life involved in motocross. Right now, I can`t imagine doing anything else!

Do you like to travel? What's your best (clean) road trip story?

I love to travel to race! I can`t wait for our next out of town race where we can go to the track and camp at the track in our toy hauler and enjoy the experience. My best "clean" story is from Ponca City last year. We had a small pool near our rig and my friends and I were playing in there. Well, we found a bunch of frogs and we threw them all in the pool. The next thing you know we had about 20 kids and about 100 frogs in the pool! We had a blast, but my dad had to hose us off afterwards to get off all the mud and junk!

Competitive Highlights

I have some great results in this sport over the past few years!  I was the Colorado Supercross State Champion (6 race series) in 2004 on 50's and in 2005 on 65's!  Additionally, I finished 2nd in the SRAC state MX series in Colorado on 50's in 2003 and 2004 as well as finishing 2nd in the combined 50 class in 2004.  In 2005, I finished 2nd in the RMXA Summer Series in Colorado as well!  I have qualified for Ponca City each of the past 4 years and I have had the good fortune to compete in Ponca City, Vegas, Lake Whitney and arenacross.  I have made some mains in these national events, but have not pulled a top 10 overall finish yet which is my goal for 2006!  I also plan to race the arenacross series in 2007 to make a run at racing the US Open in Vegas next October! Ultimately, I want to race Loretta's!
