The 18 year old American driver Troy Castaneda tested once again with Alan Racing at L’Autodromo Vallelunga near Rome, Italy.  He continued to improve his understanding of the Formula Master car as well as a new track. He showed that he is a hard working driver and kept improving his times lap after lap. Unfortunately, at the beginning of the final day of the two day test, problems struck Castaneda’s car and ended his testing session for the day. This problem was similar to the quandary he suffered in Valencia; the gearbox. Due to this issue, the team has decided that it would be in the best interest for everybody to wait for the new car to arrive in February; therefore not participating in the final winter tests on the 18^th and 19^th of this month.

 

“I believe overall this test went well,” explained Troy, “And I am really excited to begin the official testing sessions in a couple months.”
