I started riding motorbikes in 1998 at age 5 on a JR50 and rapidly progressed through a number of different bikes . Then in 2004 on a YZ85 I entered my first enduro race and I became hooked.

I have competed in all South East Queensland Enduro Events since then, the Australian Off Road Series this year and some club days at my local MX Track.

Results for 2007
     * Yamaha Sprint Cross – 1st Place Overall
     * Yamaha Two Day Enduro – 3rd Place Overall
Which also earned me three Gold Medals
     * Suzuki Enduro Cross – 3rd Place Overall
     * Honda Pony Express – 1st Place Round 1 and out for
Round 2 & 3 due to training cycling injury

Results for 2006 (Top 3 in all 4 series) & 2005 are still on the qld enduro web site if you need them

I have competed and finished (no DNF’s) in all of the 22 enduro events I have entered into this year. In most instances I am the youngest in my class, mostly competing riders two or more years older than myself. If you look at my times for the SEQ Enduro Events you will note that my times would put me into the Expert Class if I were a Senior.

I am currently sponsored a new Yamaha WR250F through Pro Yamaha at Slacks Creek, they support me with a race bike and some other products.

I have just completed the Lee Hogan BCP 5 Day Boot Camp focusing primarily on Motorcross which has improved my riding skills on the motorcross track. The reason for this training was to improve my motorcross skills as a lot of the enduro events are held with a motorcross track being part of the course. This is especially apparent in the Australian Off Road Series.

Tom is a very competent rider and he has the skill level, fitness, drive, ambition and stamina to become Australia’s best enduro rider. Being accepted into this course will help achieve his final goals.
