Overview

How I got started

My downhill bug began with recreational fun in the local mountains with some friends, on a hardtail no less. Within a few months I purchased my first downhill bike and entered the 2004 Amateur Cup Series at Snow Summit, with no idea if I would be competitive. After I won my first race, I was much more confident in my ability. Since then I have moved from beginner to expert without missing a podium.

Goals for the Future

The goal for 2007 is to start strong as a Semi-Pro. Travel as much as possible and podium frequently!

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

I was inspired to compete by a family member whom is a former National Champion.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I come from a short-line of mountain biking enthusiast, comprised of a few recreational riders and one National Downhill Champion(Penny Davidson). As a former roadie turned cross-country it took only one ride on the chair lift to turn me into a downhill junkie. In regards to me I don?t know what to say. I really love this sport, the people and the competition is second to none. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be part of the downhill community.
