Thanks for the love haha! Ive been off it (besides swimming) for 2 1/2 weeks now and its feeling good. Might just give it another week and give it a slow 5k and see how things go and decide from there. No need to rush it, plenty of time before my AG Nats Qualifier! |

My advice is join a Masters Swim group, they have people of all ages and usually have a good coach that can teach stroke mechanics or do some 1 vs. 1 lessons. Even if you dont get 'faster' but can come out of the water with a lower heart rate or use less of your legs to get to the 'swim out' thats a HUGE improvement! I wish I could live in Florida and swim all year around outside, that would be killer! |
