Overview

How I got started

I started riding when I was 12 years old and I got a Yamaha TTR-125. I started riding mainly local tracks. I soon wanted to race and got a 2002 Yamaha YZ 85. I started racing in smaller series in the the beginner class. My first series was the Texas Fox Full Moon series and finished 3rd overall in the whole series. I soon started riding every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and raced on the weekends. I also realized that I needed to be in better shape so my Dad started me on a workout program that consisted of light weights and running. I then got a 04 YZ 85 Yamaha and started to race in the 14-15 85cc stock and mod. A classes. I raced in the the Texas Championship series and got 1st overall in the 14-15 85cc open A class. After racing mostly in local tracks I started practicing further away and racing further away. My first national was 2004 at The Grand National Championship at Mosier Valley and got 17th in the main out of around 40 riders in the 14-15 85cc stock A class. The following year I received a 15th at the GNC. Now, I am riding in the 125 novice stock and mod class, and in the school boy class. I have been training really hard for the Pro Circuit series and for the 2006 spring nationals.

Goals for the Future

Go to nationals such as Lake Whitney, GNC, Ponca, Lorreta Lyns-I want to be a competitor in the 125 B class.
