Team South Africa consist of four riders from South Africa, Canada and Blacksburg, S.Carolina. Louwrens Mahoney, Kenneth Gilbert, Paul Petrin and Vance Earl.
Louwrens Mahoney is the reigning (06) Overall S.A. National Cross Country Series Champion, and the 3X Overall S.A. National Enduro Champion, and also currently has three back to back overall wins in the ROOF OF AFRICA.
Kenny is the reigning (06) 200cc S.A. National Cross Country Series, and the 200cc S.A. National Enduro Series Champion. Finished in 4th Overall in the 2007 Roof of Africa.
Vance Earl is a 9 Time Pro Mid-East Hare Scramble Series Champion, and currently a 5 Time Pro N.Carolina Hare Scramble Series Champion.
L&K came over to the states back in January 07 with a 6 month VISA to try their riding skills in the Grand National Cross Country (www.GNCCracing.com) series. Their main propose for the 6 month trip to the states were to receive training, experience and just to see how fast the competition is! They have obtained their goals in SA, and now they have their sights on the big USA!
