Overview

How I got started

My first bike was a KX60 racing local in my area. I decided I really liked racing so my family started taking me to District 29 races. After racing a couple of years in the District we are now racing more National events along with the District 29 and Ultra races. I also ran the the arena cross in several states.

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport becuase its fun. Its something my whole family enjoys. My little brother, who is in a wheelchair, loves to watch me race. He is my number #1 fan! This sport is like no other I have ever competed in. Its like one big racing family in my district. If you need something or you have bike problems, someone is always offering their help. I love the high level of competition and the adrenalin rush at a gate with 39 other riders. Words cannot explain it!

Some Personal Information About Me:

I am an A/B honor roll student. My favorite subject in school is Art and PE. When I am not racing or practicing. I love to go fishing. I love to hunt with my friends.  I like going to my brothers wheelchair hockey games, he is the coolest.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I get up in the mornings, eat breakfast, and then do my schoolwork. After I finish with school, I run 2 miles, I bicycle for 5 miles, and I run 5 miles on my ski machine. I ride almost every day putting in at least 2 hard 20 minute motos.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to race professionally. This all started out being for fun and something to do on the weekends. It still is fun! But its a serious fun. I eat, sleep and breathe racing.

How's Life Treating You?

I have had some pretty bad luck this year at Loretta's.  I finished 4th in my first schoolboy moto on a bone stock bike.  Suzuki offered me a motor for my remaining motos and when the motor guys jetted it, they forgot to tighten the carb and my second moto it was sucking air everytime I jumped.  We fixed that and the third moto I got a bad start but I worked my way up.  I finished 14th overall.  If I hadn't of had the card issue I would have been top 5 easily.  My MX Lites B stock class, I chose to ride the 2 stroke and that was a mistake.  Other than that I am looking forward to redeaming myself at mini o's.
