2004 Mini O’s Champion

Lilburn, Georgia’s Max Tannenbaum had a great Mini O’s, claiming fourth in the 7-8 stock Sx final and winning the outdoor action with a clean 1-1 moto sweep of the stock class, including an at the checkered pass on rival Nick Gaines to win the final moto
The last second pass was just one more example of how Max never gives up on the track. He has often been described as racing with heart and determination. After winning moto 1 in the motocross program, holeshot to checkered flag, Max had to work harder in the second moto. Coming off the gate in 8th he worked his way to the front picking off riders one at a time. He launched and landed jumps that no other 50 was doing to make up time as he continued to attack every corner. He stayed focused till the checkered flag and was able to get the job done.

Personal and Academic:
Max is currently an AMA 10 yr old. He turned 11 on July 20th, 2006.
When Max left the public school setting in the 3rd grade (attendance policy issues as he became more involved with nationals) he was testing at a 5th grade or above level for all subjects and a 7th grade level for reading. He continues to excel in his new learning environment where he is presently home schooled by his Mom. The subjects currently studied include advanced math along with high school level reading and history. He also participates in a local learning co-op studying literature, science, creative writing, and computer programming. Max has twin 17-year-old sisters who are in the 12th grade at a private school and attend races when their schedules allow. They are always at LL and Mini O’s to cheer for their brother when their school is out of session.
After practice or races, you can usually find Max fishing or playing pool to relax. Currently Max is exploring video editing capabilities and graphic design on his computer at home in his down time.
Why Max is a Good Choice for Your Team:
Max has proven he can win championships. His hard work and determination are a lethal combination for his competitors. He strives to have the work ethic of Ricky Carmichael and a relationship with the public like Travis Pastrana. He is a personable kid who wins fans over every time they see him race, or stop to talk to him in the pits, with a style all his own. We are extremely grateful that Max has been able to excel in a sport he has chosen to compete in. Max continues to work with Ronnie Tichenor to improve his skill and mental fortitude. He has the support of his family to help him achieve his goals. Both Mom and Dad take Max to practice several times a week, with Dad being in charge of racing. Max’s focus is on the Nationals, and plans on attending all major nationals in 2007. During the winter months he travels to Florida so that he can continue to ride year round. Some local races are thrown in for fun during the year, but practice is where you will find him most of the time.
His Value to Your Company:
Max is starting to get the recognition from industry publications and videos allowing him to better promote your products. He was the featured rider with a seven page article in the SE edition 2.2 issue of Pickle magazine and in the video production “The Prospects” by MotoPlayground. Both MotoPlayground and Amateur Mx have considered Max a contender for Loretta’s and featured several pictures of Max.
