Overview

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Babette Monroe I write to you on behalf of my son, Taylor Monroe.
I believe that he would be a great representative for your company as well as a member of the Racing Team, because he has the drive and love for the sport. He is a very giving person who somehow combines his quiet spirit with a desire to compete in one of the toughest sports in the world.     This year has been a great experience he qualified and attended Loretta Lynn’s in two Supermini classes. He has also done well at local races both on the 150F and transitioning to the 250F. For the past two years he has been riding the 150 in the 250 classes where ever they would allow and finishes as though he were on a 250. To keep him challenged at local races he has raced up a bike size since he was on a 65. In 2009 he will be moving to the Intermediate “B” class. This year will prove be a great challenge not only on the track but in life as you know this sport is very competitive. Taylor is looking for sponsors that believe in his talent and desire to move forward in the sport.  As you know even at the amateur level the expense of competing can leave some racers behind.  We encourage you to call the reference listed below you should find that they all truly believe in Taylor as an individual and his ability to compete at a National level in the sport he loves.
Again thank you for taking the time to look at my resume and consider me for sponsorship your support would mean a great deal to me and will be much appreciated.

How I Got Started

Taylor has been riding since age 5 1/2 and racing at age 6. We went through 4 different motorcycles in a very short time trying to find one fast enough to keep up with his progression. He used to say "Dad I`m on the whole gas". He seems to have a natural ability to learn techniques quickly. He can learn just by watching another rider`s body movement or listening to their motorcycle. Taylor is willing to try new things and he loves to challenge himself with new jumps. His quick progression brought with it many challenges. Finding new ways to keep him moving forward and not settling with the competition at hand has been a learnig process for us all.

He races as many classes as available. At local races he rides against the next age group or bike size to keep improving his skills and speed.

1999 First race season, YZ50, KTM Adventure, KTM PRO Jr.
had a great time learning to ride and made many new friends.

Taylor injured his knee Tuesday evening in the parking lot at the racetrack he was unable to race.

Since this was our first trip to a National event we decide to stay to watch and experience what goes on at a large event.

KTM Mini Supercross Challenge 2001 Salt Lake City, UT

This was a great opportunity for Taylor.  He still had the stitches in his knee from Los Vegas and had to ride with a knee brace on, but he chose to ride anyway.  He crashed going into the second lap.  After a few minutes he got back on and finished the race with the handlebars bent down to his knees.  He just doesn’t give up.
