had a great labor day weekend in brianhead, ut for the 2008 norba finals. it was sad to see no one their but i still had a great time riding and racing my bikes. thanks to team big bear for the party sunday night that was really cool. as racing goes i managed to get the bronze medal 3 rd place saturday night in the dual slalom. that was very interesting race because the last run was in the pouring down rain. also i managed to somehow get 4th overall in dual slalom. all in all pretty cool day and i'm stoked for those results. sunday the downhill was fast and brutal. with a small feild i was shooting for the win but i ended with a pretty solid 5th. thanks to all my sponsors, ec, and everyone who supports this starting to get old dude. see you all in woodward in two weeks for ca finals. later,

I raced snowmass last weekend with an unimpressive result for the day, but it paid off in the end with an overall. 2007 NMBS expert men 30-34 downhill, 3rd place. not to bad for only doing 3 races. thanks to everyone who helped me this year especially EC and the Mongoose Tribe. the ECD was awsome. thanks. and to all my sponsors thank you, see you all next year. hey everybody sorry it's been so long since last post. Here is whats been going on. Work Work Work. No time for training or riding just work 67 hours a week to be precise. The last month I have been working on a Movie " The Pineapple Express" a comedy staring Seth Rogan and James Franco , I do lighting on it. The movie should be a huge success when it comes out. so check it out and look for Stevie Z's name in the credits under set lighting. Enough about that, back to this weekend at the Firestone Classic. Good Times. With no training or riding i went to the race to fly the mongoose tribe colors and prevailed the best i could. 5th overall time in expert 30-34. first run sitting in 6th not to happy about that, so the second run i stepped it up for 3rd with shaving almost 4 seconds off my first run, too bad i didn't to that my first run. oh well that's racing. so 5th for the day lots of fun ,good people ,and good times.
