Overview

How I got started

I started on an xr 80 (I begged my parents to get me) in a field. We went to a faircross race and when we realized how fun it was we were hooked.

Goals for the Future

This year I decided I no longer want to race for a living.  My families income does not realistically support this goal at this time.  I want to continue to race and get my pro licencse and qualify for an outdoor national.  I would love to work in the industry and am currently getting my associates degree in general business.  Racing will always be huge part of my life and I don't plan on slowing down.  Next year I would like to get my pro licensce and try to qaulify for the Red Bud Pro National in the lites class..

Why do you like this sport?

What is there not to like about motocross. Waking up early in the morning every weekend to the smell of race gas and the sound of bikes. You can feel the excitement in the air. There are so many good people and friends just waiting to be made. Some days go perfect and some do not but the days that do not go so great are what makes winning so great. That is why I race because it is not easy and not everything goes your way. It makes victory so much sweeter. If it were easy anyone could do it. You have to not only be fast, but also consistent. There are so many aspects of the sport and you have to be on top of all of them to be consistent.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I try to have fun as much as I can. I am an adrenaline junkie, I love extreme sports were as classic stick and ball sports does not intrest me much. I am very competitive but try to maintain a good attitude if I get beat. I do my best to represent my sponsors. I try to get their name and product out there at the races. I also do very well in school. I maintain a 3.4 grade point average and do not have a hard time learning new things. I am a very fast learner, which is why I accel so quickly in motocross, were there are so many things that you must learn to be a sucessful racer.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

What else would any amature motocross rider want to be when they grow up? My number one goal in my life right now is to work as hard as I can to make a living racing pro nationals and supercross. I know I have the drive and the talent, I just need to continue working on my stamina and consistency. I have made huge strides this past year proving to myself that if I work hard enough I can make it.
