thanks: first be yourself...different. I dont race much anymore being older and working so much for harley davidson/buell dealership in california and i am from the east coast/NJ-NY area and miss it.
Send as many letters/emails to the sponsors you like and trust/passionate about. i would give you some of mine and i dont keep up as much with them like i use to years ago.
I started later in life with work and US Air Force.
SO in conclusion be yourself and different but let them know what you will do for them not the other way around. Its what you can do or offer your potential sponsor. Even if you dont race much but show up at practices and ride alot like i do....mention and use the sponsors decals(ask for them) and show what you can do and help promote there product and why you like the product . I hope that helps andrew. It was a pleasure and i wish you luck and it will happen with persistance and dont give up and be discouraged. Try it..and im open to your sponsors and questions whenever you feel the need to email me. Take care and have a wonderful year.
