About me
Why do you compete?
I like racing because it give me self pride in what im doing, it realy doesnt matter what position i get at a race im allway glad to be part of the mountain bike world and race scene. The best thing about racing is when you can hear the crowd going wild as you get closer and closer to the finnish line, its one of the best feelings.
What inspires you to compete?
What inspires me the most is to be chosen for the US squad for the world championships sometime in the future. I want to represent my home nation wich would be a dream for me.
Music?
I like most music, but mave few faves are, Tool,Adema,Chevelle and Ministry of Sound wich always gets me in the mood to party lol.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
There are two things i would like to be, the first is a top ten ranked pro world rider wich i am trying to work at, i know it will take a while and i am willing to take the time to get there. Thoe other is i am into millitary history and i would like to be a narrator on millitary documentary's especially world war 2.
Music?
I also have a set of technics turntables i like to play with now and again, nothing major just for fun. Ilike to mix trance, house and proggressive. But im still learning lol.

How did you get started?
I started riding bikes at a young age when my dad bought me a bike when we lived in south africa. I then started competing in small bmx races, proggressing to xc riding and racing. But it did not seem to be exiting or give me and adrenaline rush, so i heard of downhill racing and the tried it. I have been riding and racing downhill ever since.
List your competitive highlights
Coming back from a huge back injury when i was in junior category were i hurt my spine, it took a couple of years to be able to ride properly again. My first race was in begginner wich i won, my second race i won that to. Then i upgraded to sport were i came second with a crash crashed, after a few more sport podiums and 10th overall at the plattekill race series, even though i missed 3 races out of the series, i then upgraded up to expert and got a 2nd place in the uk at a winter series race.
What are you planning for next season?
My plans for the 07 season are to compete in europe and race UK nps, Maxxis international cup and two select world cups if i attain UCI points. I have a big 07 season ahead of me.
