Q&A - Competition

How did you get started?

For both race cars and snowcross I went to a few events as a spectator and decided that was what I wanted to do. From there as a team we made it happen- We're heading into our 7th year of stock car racing and 3rd year of snowcross. The combination of a knowledgable team, excellent equipment, and dedicated sponsors is what fuels our team.

List your competitive highlights:

2008 Pro Stock Division- Brighton Speedway (1/3 mile dirt track) 1 win 23 starts 8 top three finishes (35%) 17 top five finishes (74%) 22 top ten finishes (96%) Finished 4th overall -26 cars in the class Finished 2nd overall Triple Crown Series-19 cars in the class Eastern Stockcar Challenge results TBA- finished 2nd or 3rd -46 cars in the series 2007 Pro Stock Division- Brighton Speedway (1/3 mile dirt track) 3 wins in 32 starts 18 top five finishes (56%) 31 top ten finishes (97%) Finished 6th overall in points-29 cars in the class Most Consistent Driver Award 2007 Comp 4 Division- Brighton Speedway (1/3 mile dirt track) 3 wins in 36 starts 13 second place finishes in 36 starts 29 top five finishes (80%) 34 top ten finishes (94%) Finished 2nd overall in points-33 cars in the class Finished 1st overall in Triple Crown Series-33 cars in the class Driver of the Month Award Most Consistent Driver Award 2006 Pro Stock- Brighton Speedway Finished 6th overall in points-28 cars 2 wins in 28 starts 14 Top Five Finishes (50%) 23 Top Ten Finishes (82%) 100% Attendance award 2005 Pro Stock- Brighton Speedway Finished 9th overall in points-26 cars Brighton Speedway Promoters Award Best Appearing Car Award 2004 Comp 4- Brighton Speedway Track Champion - 1st overall in points-38 cars Most Consistent Driver Award Best Appearing Car Award 2003 Comp 4- Brighton Speedway First year of competition Finished 7th overall in points-22 cars Best Appearing Car Award CSRA SNOWCROSS Finished 3rd overall in Sport Women 600 in 2008 Finished 2nd overall in Trailsport Women 600 in 2007

What are you planning for next season?

Racing year round (December 2008-October 2009)competing in a minimum of 32 racing events between snowcross and stock cars. We will travel to 15 cities running in 5 racing circuits total. Our goal for the 2009 season is to run competitvely in all circuits finishing with a top 3 finish in each and hopefully another championship. We just purchased a 2008 Ski-Doo MXZX 600 RS snowmobile for our new race sled. And will be running our '87 Monte Carlo SS Pro Stock again for the '09 season.

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

1. Winning my first championship in my second year of racing. 2. Finishing 2nd overall 3 times in seperate race circuits 3. Racing the last two snowcross events of 2008 with a broken finger. It hurt a lot but I wasn't willing to give up for anything.
