Overview

How I got started

My older brother got me started into racing and ever since I have been hooked. I am now competing in the 125 schoolboy and 125 B classes until mini o's, when I will move up to the A class.

Goals for the Future

This year I have been a consisten top 5-10 rider nationally. At Loretta Lynns, I was going into my final 250B stk moto with 6-6 scores. I was in 3rd place in the last moto all by myself, yet luck didnt go my was as I went 6-6dnf for 13th overall. I know what it takes to finish in the front on a national level and I'm looking forward to putting 3 solid motos together next year at Lorettas. I want to be a podium contender at every national I attend for the 2008 season.

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

I like this sport because it gives me a feeling I can`t describe and I never get tired of it. I also enjoy the family atmosphere that is at the track and all the good memories I get from going to the races with my family.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I come from a highly respected family who has strong morals and beliefs. My older brother who is 18, is homeschooled with me just so he can travel the country and watch over me while i`m training. I come from a family of 7 and they are all behind me 100 percent in helping me achieve my goals. I am a well known racer on and off the track because of my abilities as well as my attitude toward racing and towards others. Without the help of my family I wouldn`t be able to do this at the level we compete at.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I am currently homeschooled so I can help obtain my dream of becoming a professional motocrosser. I train during the summer and winter months at Millsaps Training Facility with the best in the country. We ride almost everyday during the week for roughly 5 hours a day of vigerous training with Colleen Millsaps. After riding, we attend the Gym on site at MTF with our personal trainer Brad. We have a routine of weight lifting and cardio that we go through 5 days a week. Also, I attend a physcological coach and have the support of the Tallahassee Orthopedic Center for any mishaps during the week. When I come home I have a personal trainer and work out at Personal Best Fitness with Leroy Colins, a former NFL running back.

Why do you compete?

I love to compete because I enjoy the competitive nature. I love to win and have a good time at the track. Nothing beats the feeling I get while racing.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I would love to achieve my goal of becoming a successful motocrosser however, if I don`t achieve that for some reason, I would like to help run my dad`s bussiness which is family owned and operated for over 30 years. He owns his own Tree and Lanscaping Bussiness and I have always enjoyed going to work with my father.
