My Racing Friends

Red Bluff track was very tight and challenging.  In the 65 beginners class, I took 2nd place in the first moto right behind Tyler Nelson.  Tyler and I are leading the points in the Series.  The second moto I took the lead with Brennin right behind and Tyler coming up fast.  Tyler tried to jump past and had a bad crash but he is o.k.  I ended up winning that moto and taking 1st place overall.

In the 85 beginners class I took 3rd place in the first moto and then 4th in the second to take 3rd place overall.

We went straight to Ukiah Speedway after the CMC Nationals on Saturday. Mom and Dad were very tired.

I raced in the 60cc beginner class winning both motos to take 1st place overall. I had a little difficulty in the 80cc beginner class. I fell down in a corner but I was able to take 5th place overall.

My next race will be at Red Bluff this weekend 10-15-06 for the CMC Nationals.

The Dodge Nationals was very exciting and challenging. I meet all the pros and the best riders in the Nation. Some of the circuit riders have not been home for 5 months. I gained valuable experience and skills at the Dodge National. I also meet new friends that I will be racing with and against in the next year. I also meet Don Rasberry of LockJaw Racing. LockJaw Racing is now one of my sponsors.

After the Dodge Nationals, we went straight to Riverfront at Marysville for the 4th round in the CMC National Series. I had a great time, placing 2nd in the 60cc beginner.

My friend, Jace did a great job placing 1st in both motos to take 1st in the 60cc beginner.

I am currently running in 1st place in the series in the 60cc beginner but Tyler is just 2 points behind me. Jace is catching up with both of us.

In the 80cc beginner class, I had a little more difficulty falling in both motos and then trying to play catch up. I did alot of fast riding and ended up taking the 10 place trophy overall.

This was the third race in the series for CMC Nationals. Arthur was doing his normal pre race warm up by riding his bicycle and jumping bmx style across plywood when he hit the plywood on the corner and fell causing a road rash on his forehead, nose, across his left eye, under his eye and lip as well as his chin. After some major first aid, we were preparing to leave when Arthur decided he was going to race anyway.

Arthur took the lead after the first corner in the 65 beginners class and maintained the lead to the finish. The goggles was causing him some concern across his road rash around his eye but he decided to stay and finish the motos as best as he could.

The second moto was much more challenging for Arthur, he fell twice causing him some major facial pain but he was able to get up and finish the moto placing 5th overall in the 65 beginners class. In the 85 beginners class Arthur finished 19th overall. Way to go, Arthur!!!

Arthur is currently at the Dodge Nationals. He has only been to Hangtown once during a wednesday night practice. He is very excited to be at Prairie City with some of the best riders. He is going to race in the 65 10 -11 stock class and the 65 10-11 modified class.

Arthur wanted to try some harder and tougher tracks with more competitive riders to gain knowledge and experience. The track at Hangtown will be a challenge for Arthur. Goodluck!!!!!
