Had a couple nice events go down over the weekend at Manzanita BMX Raceway here in Tucson. There was a Redline Cup Qualifier on Saturday night and a State Championship Series race on Sunday morning. It was my first race in Tucson and I had several of my friends come to watch, so I really wanted to do well. So what do I do? I proceeded to win every moto of the weekend and win both of my mains. 2 first place finishes for the weekend and a nice boost in points. Plus I cleared the big doubles down the second straight! Not bad for an old man. LOL

Well, I'm finally starting to get settled in down here in Tucson, AZ. Despite what everybody here considers cold weather, it's still better than the Indiana weather. The place I am staying at is only 10 minutes from one of the local tracks and there are trails within 2 minutes bike ride from the house. All in all, I believe I have made the right decision to move for my training and racing. Going up to Phoenix this weekend for a state race, there is a Redline Cup qualifier in 2 weeks and the ABA Winternationals are in Phoenix next month. Next blog, I should have lots of race results to post. Until then, be sure to keep the rubber on the ground. Good Luck everybody with whatever events you have coming up!
