Overview

How I got started

My dad used to race professionally, and I started racing here and there a few times when I was 10. I became serious about it just last year in 2008, and have improved so much since I started.

Goals for the Future

To qualify for LL, and continue placing in the top five at the amatuer nationals. A long term goal is to become a WMA Pro by the time I'm 17.

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

I am a highly competitive person, I think motocross is the most challenging sport, and trust me I've tried them all. I have so much passion for this sport and I am consistant, I want to make it to the top and nothing can break my will power to do so.

Why do you like this sport?

The rush, the fun, the challenge and competition. Just sitting there on the line and waiting for the gate to drop, that's what I live for. Everything about it, and the motocross community is just like one big family I couldn't live without it.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I race in the Women’s intermediate and Girls 14 and under mini class. I just turned 15 on October 5th and now I am moving up to Women’s intermediate only; and the 250F junior class. I raced a CRF150R in the girls mini class for the amateur nationals. I race 1-2 times a week; I practice weekly, and am on a training plan also. I always make healthy choices, and am very concerned about staying in top physical shape for racing. Motocross comes before everything for me, and I will work hard to make sure I can always perform my best. What separates me from my competition is that I have passion, and a strong will to become the best. I work hard on and off the track, I am persistent, I’m a strong person and very goal oriented. I know I will make it to the top.

Additionally, I am a sophomore at Hillsboro High School taking advanced classes.  Other interests include BMX, riding mountain bikes, competitive track/running, competitive softball, and photography.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I practice once or twice a week, ride my bicycle every two days, and run twice a week. On top of that I race 1-2 times a week, and am always doing something active.

Competitive Highlights

At my first amature national I placed in the top 5, the Dodge Amatuer National in Cali. Another highlight having a perfect season at a local track for an indoor series, Clark county; after that i started to become more serious about racing.
