Well the 2008 WORCS sereies is all done, It was a tough year with lots of new competion on the track. Even though I had a difficult year and I sufferd some setbacks it was a great year of racing I couldn't have done without my sponsors.

I finished 6th overall in the UTV class and plan on returing in 09 having my sights set on putting the #1 Plate back on my Rhino with the help of all my sponsors.

While the start of the 08 season was a struggle to say the least, securing a spot on the poduim at round 5 puts me in position to stay in the hunt for a third national championship.  With only three races left in the season every piont is going to count. Hope to see you all at Round 6 in Olympia Wa Aug 16, 17

Jeff took the holeshot, the lead, and the win on Saturday at WORCS round 3 in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Pictures are currently in the Pit Traffic gallery (pittraffic.com) and will soon be posted on ORC (off-road.com) and also on ATVRiders (Atvriders.com). Also, look for video from the latter two sources!

It was a clean race on a short, dusty, rocky, whooped-out 2.8 mile track. An unusually short course for a WORCS race. To the Rhinos' advantage, however, they were allowed to compete on the entire course instead of just the MX part of the course. Jeff took the lead from the gate and held it until the checkered flag against 8 competitors.

Jeff's next race will be in Payette, Idaho on April 6th-8th for WORCS round 4. The Rhino races are always on Saturdays, so if you want to see him in action, make sure you are there by Saturday! He is also hoping to make some of the Northwest Quad Nationals (fantomzatv.com) races this year, work permitting.

Well, the race started out well. Jeff was way out in front when tragedy struck. He out drove the machine and broke upon landing a table top. He is tied for 1st in the points, so round 3 will be a battle for sure. There are pictures of Jeff racing both on Off-road.com as well as ATVriders.net. There is also video from round 1 of Jeff on ATVriders.net!

Currently he is ordering parts and tearing the Rhino into pieces to fix it in time for the EWDRA Spring Hare Scramble in Richland, WA on March 4. This is a super fun XC race that Jeff took 2nd place in Utility his first time racing, and 1st place in it last November. This race marks Jeff's first racing anniversary, and you can see pictures of the almost-bone stock Rhino on that first fateful race on Pittraffic.com in the gallery of previous pictures.

Jeff raced WORCS round 1 at Speedworld in Phoenix, Arizona in the Rhino Mod class. He placed 1st. See the pictures - borrowed from Off-Road.com (they have race coverage and pictures of all the classes in their gallery. Check it out!)

After having a bad start (last of six into the first turn) he quickly recovered and was in 2nd place by the end of the 5th turn. At the end of the race, the leader unfortunately drove too hard and broke a tie-rod and Jeff gratefully took the 1st place finish, "It's not how I wanted to win. I would have liked to been able to beat him without him breaking," said Jeff.

Jeff is looking forward to his next race in Victorville, California at Racetown 395 for WORCS round 2.
