About US
How did you get started?
Snow Racing was established in 1991. Demetri Snow, Banker by day and Racer on the weekends started racing street bikes in 1991 in the AFM and WSMC road racing organizations. In 1992 he got his pro license and started racing the Prestigious AMA Road Racing Series in the Super Sport 600 and 750, GTO and GTU classes around the United States. Demetri retired and started his own race team in 1998. Don & Danny Hart became the new team members, two young brothers that had grown up racing dirt track with the Hayden brothers and the Bostrom’s. Both of the Harts had there pro dirt track licenses and adapted to road racing like fish to water. They both got their Pro AMA licenses in 1999 and away they went AMA 600 & 750 SS class racing. 2000 was a good year Don and Dan had some top 10 finishes in both classes on stock machines. 2001 was set to be our year, we had brand new competitive bikes Don and Dan had been working real hard in the off season. We were sure to get some podiums. Unfortunately early In 2001 Dan Hart passed away while leading the West Coast Flat Track series points in Bakersfield, CA. Don Hart couldn't race anymore he had lost all his drive and quit racing altogether . Don has since started racing again in the 2005 AMA Supermoto series. After Dan passed away in 2001 my boys Brandon, Tyler, Ricky, Alex and Andrew Snow started racing motocross. We raced 42 weeks a year for 2 years, running in any race we could find up and down the California state. In 2003 we started racing Super Moto and that has become our new passion. In February of 2005 Demetri`s wife and mother of 5 was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the Snow`s had to take a break to get Moma healthy again. Unfortunately Mama Sue passed away on July 7th 2006. Snow Racing started racing again in 2007 with Ricky, Alex, Andrew and even Papa Snow put his old leg over the seat again. In late 2007 Papa Snow was introduced to the biggest female moto-head he had ever met by the name of Jocelin, just Jocelin, no middle, no last name. A mini me, the perfect match. She was a total motorcycle nut. Jocelin raced anything on 2 wheels and could beat 90% of the men. She bought her first motorcycle at age 12 a KX 80 with her paper route money. She was hooked she started road racing in 1998 on a Kawasaki ZX7R she rarely finished out of the top 5 as an amateur. She earned enough points to get her pro license in late 1999. She bought a TZ 250 and jumped into the pro ranks. She finished off the 1999 season by getting a 3rd place in the Daytona Race of champions 250 GP class. In march of 2000 in her first Pro AMA 250 race her TZ seized up at high speed and she had a horrific crash resulting in serious injuries to her right ankle, left shoulder, left arm, neck, and back, she also suffered from short term memory loss from a severe concussion. This did not stop this mighty mini me. After 6 months of rehab and spending a good amount of time in a wheel chair she was back at it again. She sold her home and her business in Maine and moved to sunny Cali were she got sponsored by factory Yamaha to race the AMA 250 GP class along side Rich Oliver as his teammate (5 time AMA 250 GP Champion). After several more great racing results and several more serious injuries Jocelin retired from road racing and helped start up a very successful motorcycle accessory shop in Santa Cruz, Ca. called We All Ride. Papa Snow 1st met Jocelin at the 2007 Moto GP races were she had a venders booth; it was love at 1st sight. The two got married on the 4th of July 2008. Jocelin was an instant hit with the Snow family. “Jocelin Snow is the latest addition to our family and race team and we love her to death”.
